Try the following steps:
1. Turn on your tv.
2. Press and hold the "set" button, then press the "tv" button.
3. Release the buttons. Then, press "set" once more. Point the remote at the tv.
4. Press the power button repeatedly until the tv shuts off.
5. When the tv powers off, press the "tv" button one more time.
Your remote should be programed to the tv.
To program other devices into the remote, use the same procedure described above, except press the corresponding key for the device instead of "tv." ex: to program the vcr, press "vcr" instead of "tv."
