Hello,
To set up your webcam, please follow these steps:
Download and install the most recent drivers for your video device. If
your video camera does not have drivers for Mac OS X, please use the drivers.
Select your video device in Skype under Skype Preferences- Video. This
step is not required if you have an Apple iSight.
Make sure the option Enable Skype video is ticked. You can also set
video privacy settings to desired options in the same window.
The minimum system requirements for Skype 2.0 for Mac are a Mac OS X
v10.3.9 Panther or newer, G4 800 MHz and above, any G5 or Intel
processor, 512MB RAM, 40 MB free disk space on your hard drive and a
microphone.
Suggested webcams include Apple iSight, Philips SPC900NC, or Logitech
QuickCam Pro 4000.
Video and call quality may vary greatly in environments with conditions
below these recommendations. Please be sure, that your webcam is
connected and not in use with another program.
If you experience any issues with your webcam, please contact the
manufacturer directly.
Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.
Thanks.
