Hi,
Recently I started having some problems while typing on my Acer laptop....While I'm typing the cursor will sometimes jump back to an sentence above or between letters. I've done a search about this problem and mostly the answers I see are it's caused by accidently touching the touch pad. That's not the case here. I've had this laptop over a yr and the problem only started about 2 weeks ago.
Thanks,
Susan

The cursor hopes around the screen, to front of line, a few lines above, etc. It is so frustrating
A just recently bought and acer aspire 7520 and have had the problem from the get go. I also at first thought it was the touchpad but it is not. I did what the suggested and turned down the sensitivity on it. Still no help
when i m typing the cursor jumps backto the sentences or above or between letters....what should i do?
thank u for your response!
acer aspire 5315 laptop.. typing is irregular, not all the time but every so often it will jump forward/backwards or in to a paragraph so I have to stop and check every so often.
same problem on acer extensa 46302
I am so frustrated while typing - but so relieved to know that it isn't just me!
me too with Acer 4930 - cursor jumps all over the page
I have a HP Presario dv4000 which I've had for 3 yrs. now and about 3 months ago I noticed that the cursor will move to a different place in my text. It could move to the beginning of a sentence, in between words. There is no pattern. I've researched the issue and solutions such as changing the touchpad sensitivity were given. I've since tried that but didnt' think that was the solutions since I haven't changed that since I purchased the laptop and it just recently started jumping. What else can it be? I even restored the laptop to a time prior to the issue and that didn't fix it.
well this seems to be with all the Acer laptops
