I am able to use gprs in my set but unable to connect to my pc

You have only set this up on your phones GPRS Network Settings. You need to configure it in the Sony PC Suites Network Settings. Use the Vodafone GPRS Network settings in their and you will get a working Internet connecting from your phone.

please contact your service provider.they will send you the settings for activating gprs

for attaining gprs connection you should contact your mobile connection service provider(ex:airtel,vodafone).if your mobile is gprs
supporting then they will activate it

By using your phone as a modem, you can get Internet access via your PC. Before you can use your phone as a modem, your service provider must enable your data line. Once the data line is enabled, you must set up your PC.

You can connect your phone to your laptop via USB cable or bluetooth. then open the PC suite for sure there will be set up for this.

You will need the PC suite to do this.

Set up the Data account in the Sony Ericsson K750i:

• Go to Menu

• Select Connectivity > press Yes

• Select Data Communication > press Yes

• Select Data Accounts > press Yes

• Select Add Account > press Yes

• Select GPRS Data > press Yes

• Enter Name as :mnet
  
  • APN : mnet
  • Give User name as: mnet
  • Give Password as: mnet
    

• Select Save > press Yes

• Connect your Sony Ericsson K750i with cable.

• If you are using the USB cable or DSS-20, then
  
  
  • Double click Phone Connection link
    
  • Uncheck the USB prot.

• Click Start > Programs

• Select Sony Ericsson > Mobile networking wizard

• Select Create new connection > GPRS

• Select Install Modem > Add (install the modem on the same port of the USB)

• Select Access point name as :

• For Primary and Secondary DNS: leave blank

  • Give Password as:

• To confirm select Done

• Select Connect > Dial

how to start the gprs in the k750i . i am angry now because you r not telling me how to start .

Cheak yours setting and contact to the customer care for suport and see if your phone is applicable to use this service correctly or not. if yes go to the main menu then setting then internet setting use proxy connection and remove some unwanted data from your hand set and pc.try this this will surely help you for solving your problem.

first check your internet setting at your pc must have windows xp installed  go to the network connection then click view Network Connections then click at network taskbar to create a new connection then a connection wizard begin click next then connect to the internet then next click set up connection manually click next connect using dial up modem next select the modem better is the com3 or com4 port if it is com6 port then click it next isp name-airtel next it will ask your phone number .
       
             Go to your phone then menu,setting,connectivity,datacomm,data account,MO or mobile office, more, account information and remember your external ID no it
 may be 2 or 1 back to connectivity,datacomm,data account,MO or mobile office,edit,apn edit in small letter no space airtelgprs.com. Save it. username leave empty Save it.password leave empty login request off, allow calls automatic back to menu,setting,connectivity,internet setting,internet profile, MO or mobile office,more,setting,connect using MO or mobile office, use proxy no,save back to menu,setting,connectivity,internet setting, internet profile, MO or mobile office,more,advanced,change homepage, name,MO or mobile office, adress-http://www.google.com save it.You could acess service from your phone menu,
setting,connectivity,internet setting,search if it work then ok or else contact customer care.

               Back to pc at phone number enter *99***your external id(1or2)*1#  next write your name,password next tick addshortcut to this connection to desktop then click 
finish.

              Then connect to the usb cord to pc from phone put it in phone mode and 
 click the airtel shortcut on desktop and hit the dial button.  your pc will connect to
internet.
             
   

first of all you have to get the gprs service activated and get the correct settings from the service provider..,once you get the settings and activation than only you can use the service..for getting the proper connectin opn PC.., the drivers of the connectivity media should be proplerly installed on the computer and give the dialling no provided by the service provider than you would be able to use the service...,
