Got virus cant open windows

Remove Windows Defender if you'd rather run AVG. G t Control Panel, Programs and Features, locate Windows Defender and remove it.

it's a long shot but you can try to boot into the recovery console it you have the original operating disks press the letter "R" for repair and go onto the recovery console and trying a "fixboot" command at the command prompt. this has worked for me about 25% of the time

If you have your windows cd you can boot from it and do a repair. You'll need to reapply any service packs.

The first thing you should do is back up the HDD, Remove the HDD from your Laptop, you find the lid that opens the HDD access slot under the laptop or ask someone who knows how. if available there are aftermarket 2.5 HD enclosures that lets you install the 2.5 in.hdd of your laptop via a usb. you can plug the usb to a desktop PC and backup your files. then reformat your hdd. reinstall the hdd to your laptop. replace your memory ram which causes the blue screen with a new ram, reinstall the OS.

I guess your operating system has been damaged by viruses. you need to completely format the hard disc and install new operating system and other softwares. Install McAfee 5.7i antivirus software to protect your system from viruses. To get protection from spywares you can also use site advisor softwares.

Most likely problem is a physical problem with the hard drive, but could be plenty of other things. Best bet is to back up your information (if possible) and do a fresh windows install, if you continue to get the message after a clean windows install, your hard drive is not stable, and has a problem.

Run your pc from windows startup disk, when you get a bleu screan asking :

1. press enter to install...
2. press R to repaire...
3. press F3 to qiut...

press inter, and wait if you get a messege, you already have a windows instaled c:windows...
press r to repaire,,,
then press R and when you finish don't run any program till you install antivirus and scan your pc.

else your windows cant be repaired, you shoud install windows again.

Try tapping either F5 or F8 (can never remember which) as soon as anything shows on the screen on boot. One of these will bring up a short menu with your available choices for boot.

Listen up, I have had a pretty bad virus on my computer before where this guy hacked in and created his own user account on my computer! Will, I noticed that my computer was detecting any viruses! Thats because he put a virus on my virus detector, so it couldnt detect viruses! I downloaded a different virus detector and got his viruses off of my computer right away! Try downloading a different virus protecter and try that!
