Office 2007 will run under Win7 (the next version hasn't been released). The only issue that you may have is the "genuine Microsoft key". If you installed it on the previous machine and only had one valid install, you may need to argue with Microsoft even if the product was uninstalled from the first computer.

I hope this helps.

Is the product key for Microsoft office 2013 the same as all product keys for 2013 Microsoft offices that operate under laptops using windows 8.1?

The product key is associated with the MS Office 2013 software, not the specific MS Windows version of Operating System - unless the MS Office lists a minimum version of OS ie: "Windows 8.0" In this case, it would not install on Windows 7. Otherwise, you should be able to install it on Windows 7, Windows 8, or later.

Need to fix office 2007 from compatability

Windows 7 Office 2007 Minimum Requirements b> Microsoft Office 2007 isn't the latest version of the Office suite, but it is still useful for a variety of tasks. The software package includes programs for editing spreadsheets, working with documents, creating presentations and more. Office 2007 also includes a redesigned user interface that is more intuitive than previous versions. Chances are good your computer can run Office 2007 if you already have Windows 7 installed, but you should check the system requirements anyway to ensure a trouble-free installation.

Processor and Memory Your computer needs a 500MHz or faster processor plus at the very least 256MB RAM. You may need more memory if you wish to run multiple Office applications simultaneously. The Business Contact Manager in some versions of Office requires a 1GHz processor and 512MB RAM. Turning on the grammar checker in Word requires 1 GB of RAM. Hard Drive and Optical Drive b> Make sure you have at least 1.5GB of available space on your hard disk to install Office 2007 standard and 2GB for other versions. You also need a CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive for installation. Monitor b> Your display should have a 1024x768 resolution or higher. Older 800x600-resolution monitors are not compatible with Office 2007. 64-bit Compatibility and Windows Updates b> Note that you may run the 32-bit version of Office 2007 on 64-bit versions of Windows 7, but you cannot run Office 2007 64-bit on 32-bit editions of Windows 7. Make sure your copy of Windows 7 is up-to-date for best results. Microsoft releases fixes and other updates periodically that address stability issues and other known bugs. You can use Windows Update, on your "Start" menu, to check for updates.

I bought a dell laptop with microsoft office 2007 but can't find the product key....what should i do?

A lot of people out there think when they bought a PC/Laptop, they think that everything install ie softwares installed is bundle in and free (maybe for a period of time). But this is usually not the case, if you bought the Dell Laptop make sure your have the Operating System (ie Xp, Vista or Win7 OS) licence Sticker sticked on the Laptop. The MS Office 2007 installed on your Laptop is usually a mere TRIAL Version, that is why your vendors can't give you the licence Stickers or the Serial No. You have to purchase/buy the licence for the MS Office 2007 depending on the versions.

Usually the sales vendors do not tell you everything ie negative which will result in not making a sale.

Just beware of any unscrupulous vendors! If you pay for a licence for a genuine software, definely they is a Serial No. or any Licence to verify that the real stuff!

Run One Copy Of MS OFFICE 2007 on TWO OS'S

This maybe an issue with the installer. I don't think Windows 7 is supported in default mode. But you can run as xp compatibility and it should install fine.
