First the easiest way is to try to update the VGA (Display) Drivers automatically from internet. Right Click My Computer and go to Properties - then Device Manager. Look for VGA Display Adapters (Drivers) in the list. Right Click the Display Adaptor and Choose update Drivers automatically. This will update the Drivers automatically from windows update and install the latest compatible drivers (if available).

Find your laptop model and visit the manufacturer support site and see if they have driver for Windows 7. If not try to use Windows update from Operating Sistem, from Start menu - Applications - Windows Update.
