Today, my phone, Motorola V3 has a blank screen. Worked fine for a couple of days then the screen went blank. Charged it over night, attempted to turn it on and the keyboard lights up but no screen.
This problem has probably occured due to the phone being knocked. i used to have a motorola l7 slvr and it did exactly the same, i found that if you hit the back of the phone fairly hard the screen would come back on. im not sure if it is the same for the razr but hey its worth a try. ti be honest i think motorola are terrible mobile phone manufacturers but great 2way radio manufacturers

i tried some electrical contact cleaner (brake cleaner WAL-MART .89 cents) on the hinges. Open ti back and forth several times. NOTE: do not spray alot, just a little at a time. Then it got squeaky and started working. Then I sprayed a little WD-40 on the hinges and it works fine.
This worked for me - I had to do it several times because I never figured out whether to start with the phone "off" or "on".
Press # * and the "end call (red)" buttons simultaneously and hold for several sections. Then power phone off and back on. I read this was the equivalent of "safe mode" booting for a RAZR. My phone has performed flawlessly since I did this on the 6th of February!
