When i open sudden strike it all works except there is no sound only in game and music also when i play the usa ccampain it crashes to windows with cannot find game.exe error

sorry to say bt i think that your operating system is not able to open taht game

Try updating or clean re-installing your graphic card driver... Also make sure you meet requirements to play the game.
If nothing helps, it could be faulty game, or a problem with your graphic card.
Does it happen with other games and did you ever manage to play this game in the past?

Yes it will work for windows xp, but when loading music files if you go to your pallet directly after opening the file it may crash. The way I fixed that which sometimes worked was after loading the song listen to it all the way through then try to open your music pallet.

Intermittent problems are always the hardest to diagnose but I would start by going to the device manager and deleting the sound drivers. Then a reboot and as your machine restarts it will reinstall the soundcard drivers and if the game has corrupted the drivers that should your your problem. Should it continue you will need to find updated drivers for Windows 7.

Hi, I'm assuming that you're running vista. It's not a heating issue, otherwise the machine would shut down dead in an instant. It could be a duff ram chip, which would give the problems you are seeing. Simply burn off a Ubuntu disk, and test your Ram. If it's not that, its a software issue, and may well be Windows Ram management playing up. This is a common problem in all windows OS's. Boot up off the windows disk (if you have it) and click the 'Repair' option. Alternatively if you have an onboard restore partition, you can click F8 on booting, and 'Repair this computer'.

Have you tried running a memory test from your startup menu? it sounds like a internal memory problem, there is nothing wrong with the game.

i know that taking the game to where you got it will maybe trade it for game of the year edition.

sorry for the late reply. im using windows. im quite sure that there's no virus involved with the distortion of my sound. this is what happened.

1. im surfing the net while listening to music(full volume)
2.)then suddenly the sound gets a bit distorted(jumps,skips)
3.)then everything hangs up which forced me to reboot
4.)the windows loading screen became too long(like 5mins) before it takes me to the main desktop(start up programs loads like 48 years also).
5.)when i play music ,the sound is very much(like alien,"rrrrrrr")

i tried reinstalling the drivers but nothing was fixed. i've even tried Regcure.

i just formatted my notebook and voila its back to normal.
i dunno but i think playing loud music using laptop, or in my case notebook speakers would cause this problem. im using external speakers now and i've got no problems. i just hope that there would be a fix to this problem so that i wont have to reformat if the problem occurs again

Graffix card problem sounds like to me try updating your drivers if you were able to play before if not its time for anew card :/
