I purchased a DS-330 a few years ago and recently purchased a new laptop for school and I seem to have lost the CD with the serial number. I have the LIcense ID number and was trying to install the software and am unable.

Try logging into Olympus support. The site is a little difficult to navigate but go in through the professional digital dictaphones and then into archived (or older) models until you find the DS 330. Follow the links to software downloads and you should be able to download the DSS suite and all updates. The DSS suite automatically recognizes most Olympus DSS models. If you will "save" the downloads first, you can burn them to a disk so that you will have a back up copy
