Does the tv menu or tv remote have a zoom option? It may also be labeled as "aspect ratio" or the like. I suggest trying to find this and pressing the buttons a couple of times until you get a satisfactory image. Good luck!

I had this issue. This is where the tv menu lettering is larger to enable better readability.

The zoom ratio is changed by pressing the dash (-) button on the number pad. To run off the zoom mode permanently, Press menu, select System, then Accessibilty. There you can turn Zoom Mode off or on.

Picture seems to big for TV.cant read bottom words on screen and words are cut off on side also. Cant see scrores on any sports or read peoples names on bottom of the screen
Using the menu or settings button on your remote, access the TV's menu and find the area for picture settings and zoom. You're likely set to a zoom mode, so cycle through the options until you find the zoom setting that sizes to your TV best. (On most widescreens, the best picture is often on the setting 'panarama.'

The picture is too big for the screen and it cuts off the bottom of what would should see and the tops of everyones heads. We tryed resetting and everything else. Any ideas???
You are in the zoom mode, look for 'WIDE' and 'ZOOM +/-' buttons on your remote.

The pictures zoom beyond screen hence cutting some words/pictures when on video input mode, otherwise it is ok with tv mode!
Check to see if you are on wide zoom mode in that input and check the definition. Go to your menu screen and check your video menu. There are different options for viewing. My inlaws prfer the words cut off it drives me crazy. Hope that helps

Picture is cut off at top and bottom
I had the same problem with my westinghouse 47 inch HDTV. It turned out that someone had inadvertently hit the "format" key on my satellite (Direct TV) TV remote controller. If you have satellite TV you might want to check this out. I set it back to the previous setting and I get the entire screen. Hope this helps someone.

Cant see full picture w/ Vizio 32in HDTV
You would look for a format button on your remote.
Dish Network: bottom left the asterisk "*" button
DirecTV: top left, second from the top labelled "format"
Cable remote: look for format, zoom, or aspect ratio

Pressing this button should scroll you through the options.
