Lines across images

There are lines across the pictures on the S1 IS camera. The LCD screen is fine when taking the pictures and there are no lines on the lcd screen, only the resulting pimages. Camera has been working fine up until three weeks ago. The resulting images seem to be very over exposed as well. There are lines across the pictures on the S1 IS camera.
