Hello Pat, you will probably have to download driver from the internet. I had a similar problem with another synthesizer software program. Even though the HD series Zooms come with cubase cds, they are not always compatible with the pcs. You should be ok after that.

Have you clicked the little "monitor" icon (looks like a speaker) on the armed audio track so that it goes orange? Once on, you should see a signal on the VU meter (assuming the line in has a good signal etc). Once recorded, turn the monitor off again to listen to the track with all the others.
You're probably not recording through your tascam interface. Go to control panel -> sound, and then select the us122 as your default sound device. Close cubase and open it again. Then go to devices -> device setup, and then under your asio drivers, select asio us122. That should solve it
