Is Broderbund Creatacard compatible with Vista?

Creatacard cannot be run under Windows 7 because of compatibility issues. You have to right click on the executable file that will start the application and click Properties. Select Compatibility tab and check the Windows version you know the program worked with before. There are unfortunately a few older programs that are not compatible with Vista. Check on the box it will tell somewhere on it what Operating Systems it works with.

You can try to right click on the icon of the installed program and choise properties and then choise the compatibitility tab and then choose compatibility with with windows xp instead.

If this is a new install from a new purchase, always give the manufacturer a call because they should know what it is compatable with and walk you thru most common problems.

I have the same problem when trying to install on Vista (Home version), except it freezes at 4% intalling fonts. Have tried to adjust setup.exe properties to compatible options, still doesn't work. Also used Windows Vista compatability wizard with no luck.

Vista has been a problem since it was introduced. Essentially Microsoft released it without ensureing driver were available for existing software and hardware. Some manufacturers have been making efforts to get Vista compatible Drivers available. Check the software websites for updated drivers.

The SmartDownload version is not compatible with Microsoft Vista. Check system requirements for Vista compatibility before purchasing the CD version.

CreataCard Platinum 6 is designed to be used with Windows 95/98/2000/Me or NT 4 and XP, therefore in order to run it in Vista I'd suggest to run your program using Compatinity Mode --> Go to your Desktop --> Right click on the program icon--> Properties-->Compatibility--> select one of the versions above
