I just figured what PO773 code is. It is the Torque converter lock up solenoid. The solenoid has 2 bolts that can be undone from the top of the car. The solenoid is located behind park neutral safety switch. The plug has a pink with black strip. This is A140E transmission. The problem with the vehicle was the Check engine was on and the RPM would not drop 300 RPM on the freeway at cruising speed. I only post this answer because the only thing I could find in the web was the lock up solenoid was on the valve body. Toyota calls this solenoid #3.

Where did you find the replacement solenoid? None of the local parts stores seem to offer this item. They only seem to offer the S1 or S2 solenoid. Even an internet search has not been able to locate one.

It is a grossly over priced dealer only part, like all factory replacement Toyota parts are. Not to mention they were at the to of the list last year for the most recorded customer complaints. Very poor engineering to say the least. Who was Numero ono? FORD!!!

Check engine /code P0773 and P0715

The PO773 code is your Shift Solenoid Electrical. Make sure it is not corroded and tight.

The PO715 code is your Input/Turbine Speed Sensor Circuit Malfunction. Again Check for lose wires.

Get a readout from the car's computer to see if there is a trouble code stored, which will give a good clue to the problem.

Camrys of this age often have a shift solenoid fail in the transmission, which will cause the symptoms you describe,
