Finding a JVC camcorder A/V output cable

I am looking for the output cable (for both audio and video) for the JVC GR-DX97U. It connects to the camcorder output and has at least a left and right audio RCA cable, and a composite video cable. (3 output cables)
The other version has the above and an S-Video cable and a connector for the remote. (5 output cables)

I have heard there are the two cables. One has just the 2 RCA audio cables and 1 RCA Video cable (3 outputs).

The other cable has an additional output of the S-Video cable and a connector for the remote.

I am looking to see if you have either of these parts and how much each one would be. Also, what would the shipping cost be?

Thank you!

Fixya does not sell spares or accessories. Were these items not included in the package when you purchased the camcorder ? They should be available either from JVC Spares themselves, or on Ebay

SOURCE: Digital camcorder to convert VHS tape to PC for DVD burn

You can't with what you've got I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but in order to play tapes in a vcr and run them through a digital camcorder for output to a computer, the camcorder must have s-video or av inputs. Your camera only has s-video or av outputs, used for sending from the camera to the vcr or tv. Also, some cameras have the inputs but don't support analog to digital pass-through (which is what you are describing). With these cameras you input from the vcr and record it to the tape in the camera, and then output it to the computer. Without the inputs, you can't do either one.

SOURCE: Connect A JVC GR D31 Camcorder to a Computer Via USB 2

Well I'm afraid not the cable don't not come in such of a way either cause they are different type of cable, but what u can do is buy an external fire wire card for yr PC it comes in PCI format for yr desktop PC. because camcorder in these days do not use USB cables due to the cause that fire wire cable is much faster than the USB ones.

If it's a JVC GR-D72, then it's MiniDV. Connect the camcorder via firewire to your PC

Can I CONNECT MY gr-axm405a to computer?

You can't directly connect the JVC GR-AXM205 camcorder to a computer. You can connect it to a USB (or internal) AV video capture card. See the manual here: https://www.manualslib.com/products/Jvc-Gr-Axm405-246960.html . The video and audio output ports are shown as 22 and 23 here: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/80789/Jvc-Gr-Axm205.html?page=52#manual .

I hope this helps.

I just recently got a JVC GR-SXM37 Camcorder from a family member and i was wondering if this thing connects to my computer?

No, not directly.
You would require an A/D Converter box.
Use analogue cables to connect to the A/D Converter inputs and a firewire cable to the output that goes to the computer.
There are 4, 6 and 9 pin firewire connections these days so you have to determine what the various equipment uses.

Can a jvc camcorder GR-SXM38US be connect to a IEEE 1394 port on a computer, if so what cable do I need to buy

Nope, that camera only has S-Video and composite video outputs. IEEE1394 is also known as firewire. Newer camcorders will connect via firewire. You will need a video capture card for your computer. Either an internal card or a USB version. Then you can record the video onto your computer.

Connect old camcorder to new PC

JVC has the support page for the GR-SXM260U here: http://support.jvc.com/consumer/product.jsp?modelId=MODL027120&pathId=25&page=3&archive=true. This camcorder can be connected to a TV with the S-video connection (JVC recommends their YTU94146A S-Video cable) or two RCA connections. If you use an RCA composite cable, you use only one of the two audio connections (white) and the yellow video cable.

To connect this camcorder to a computer, you need a USB video capture device and some type of video capture software. Here are two examples: https://www.amazon.com/Diamond-Multimedia-VC500-Video-Capture/dp/B001FAE8MA and https://www.amazon.com/ION-Analog-Digital-Converter-Composite/dp/B002MT7JFQ .

I hope this helps.
