How do I remove the pulley from the armature of a DeWalt 12" double bevel miter saw

They are interference fit. Possibly heating the pulley may allow you to pull it of with a small puller tool.

Is there a way to remove the shaft bearing from a dewalt choose with out a puller

if the bearing is on the armature shaft
pull the armature from the case and place the armature in a vise (free) with a flap bar on either side under the bearing across the jaws of the vice
use a soft hammer and hit on the end of the shaft driving the armature down and out of the bearing
get a friend to help to hold the plates and the armature

Have a craftsman belt sander. Armature bearings are bad. One end has a threaded drive pully which needs to come off to get the assembly out of the main housing. My guess is I need to remove end bearing to...

Be careful about putting the armature in a vice. Clamping it tight enough to pull a bearing may damage it. Now, if you have access to the first bearing, get a small bearing puller of this style http://www.summitracing.com/parts/WMR-W84551?seid=srese2 This is just an example to show what type should work. If there is not room for this, then there are other pullers made that have arms that will fit within the 1/8" clearance you have.

On the pulley, if it is a nut holding it on, then a regular socket will work. As stated be careful clamping the armature so as not to damage it. I would take a block of wood, say a scrap pc of 4x4 and bore a hole through it with a hole saw that closely matches the diameter of the armature. Cut it in half long ways, removing enough material so that when you use it to clamp the armature, the two half circle wood pcs don't touch. That way, it spreads the clamping force around a little more of the diameter of the armature.

If the actual pulley is threaded, then clamp the same way and you may have to rig something. Are there holes or slots in the pulley that a spanner wench would work on? There are several universal/adjustable spanner wrenches available for that type of thing. Check to make sure there is not a set screw in the hub of the pulley that keeps it locked from turning. A photo of this would make it easier to make suggestions.

I have a Dewalt 625e type 2 router which just quit working. I replaced the switch and the PC board but it still doesn't run.

Check both brushes. Some DeWalt brushes have a spring loaded plastic pin built into them so when it wears down the pin pops out and prevents damage to the armature. Other brushes have a copper wire that, when the brush wears to a certan point, it will no longer touch the armature again preventing damage to the armature.

Replace blade on dewalt dw 733

The DW733 has 2 blades which can be sharpened. However, to replace the blades:

1. Remove handle
2. Remove cover
3. Remove screws that hold binder to the blade.
4. Lift out blade, be careful not to cut yourself, extremely sharp
5. Replace in reverse order

Hope that helps.

Removing the pulley from the shaft on a hoover c1433 to replace the fan or impeller.

Removal of the pulley requires extreme care. There is a small opening on the side of the black motor housing to allow a special tool (or a screwdriver) to fit on a slot on the armature to keep it from rotating while the pulley is unscrewed. You MUST NOT touch the magnet wire on the armature. If you nick or break it, the motor may fail.
The only other method requires the motor case to be seperated to permit you to hold the armature while unscrewing.
