Does this model shut off automatically when the desired room temperature is reached or does it function on a low medium high type of thermostat that continuously runs? IR 3 0 p m d g - 1

if it is an inverter type air conditioner ( make not indicated) the unit runs continually but the compressor delivery is reduced thereby reducing the load on the motor
as the room warms up again the compressor starts to pump more gas to keep the room at the desired temp setting
older types shut the compressor down and restarted when the high temp was reached

sounds like the thermostat. can you bypass it (ie connect the two wires together) and make it run all the time? If so, replace the thermostat

Replacing true kegerator parts

no use a Ranco p# A12-700 make sure the capillary is in the coilto sense the temp and set it to 1.5 on the knob. any colder and it could get too cold . you may be able to set it at 2 but be careful. it is a constant cut in at 37 degrees coil temp. the box temp will drop to usually to 28 or 29 at cut out.

Bcm problem?

This sounds like a you are having a voltage problem. Have the charging system checked. A bad battery or poor alternator output can cause this. When voltage starts dropping below about 9 volts all kinds of crazy electrical things can happen and they can be anything and anywhere.

My engel cools when set to max,but when it switches off it makes a noise as if it is trying to start again, only by turning the temperature control down and then turning it back again will she start.Where...

this noise is normal due to starting period the compressor felt hard pumping operation but after a minutes it run smothly or maybe your unit has a year in using there is a possible wear and tear of mechanical parts a try to set it your thermostat on your desired setting then observe operation. the function of to sense the temp. inside and stop the comp. after reaching your desired temp.

Compressorruns fora short time

the thermostat controlling your unit likely has a window type of programming for digital or mechanical adjustment for older style thermostat that sets a minimum off temp and a maximum on temp, there may be an adjustment to set the range it operates at, otherwise you may have a defective thermostat controller unit and it needs replacing also insure that the temperature sensing element is clean and free of dust build-up and your filter is clean

Older Superior Brand Kegerator Freezing

Sounds like the fan can be running backwards. I'm not sure of you exact model, but it has to match the air flow of the original unit. Do you remember? Some manufacturers use reversable motors and are some what easy to reverse.

Good luck and hope this helps.
