No blockages on waste pipe,
All filters cleaned.
Hi
Thanks for using FixYa. If the cycle doesn't
complete, then the first thing that should be checked is the Timer and then the
heating element. Timers don't often fail. But if every other part of the
dishwasher seems to be working properly and the timer knob seems to be stuck in
one place--doing one function continuously--the timer may be at fault.
Dishwasher timers can't be repaired. If yours is defective, replace it. Many
dishwashers heat the wash and/or rinse water to a higher temperature, as the
cycle calls for it. In these cycles, the dishwasher pauses after it has filled
with water, waiting for the water to reach the pre-set temperature. What
happens next depends, as follows: On some units, the pause is timed and the
unit continues after the allotted time. On others, the cycle can't continue
until the water reaches the higher temperature. If you have this type of
dishwasher and the water isn't being heated (say, because of a problem with the
heating element or thermostat), after the unit stops at the heating cycle, it
never continues. When you repair the heating-system problem, the "cycle
problem" is fixed too. Please do accept the solution if
the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.
Thanks

As I said earlier you should start with checking the Timer(if you hear a clicking sound then it is bad), another thing is the heating element(if the water is getting too hot then it usually does then it is the heating element that is bad and needs to be replaced). Also please read the temperature issues in my previous comment which will make you understand what happens with the temperature. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.
Thanks

The filter is probably blocked.
It is inside the base of the machine.
Take out the filter and clean it and also clean out the filter well as that can also hold quite a bit of debris.

Hi,
Sorry I had the wrong model number, the actual number is FAVORIT 40010 Vi.
After reading your mail I can confirm that the cycle stops automatically and the door opens, but the red indication light at the bottom of the door stays on.
The cycle stop is very intermittant but usually happens during the end of a wash or at the drying stage, the water appears to be very hot, do you think this is a heater/thermotat issue?
I look forward to your response.
Kindest Regards
