Dlink wbr1310 router.

I recently purchased a used dlink wbr1310 router. It worked without any issues, unti I try to filter some web sites through the setup. I was able to enter the web sites and save it. After that the routher stopped responding. It shows the power indicator and the internet. When I plug my pc into it, the indicator does not come on. Same goes with the wireless. I tried to reset it several times, but when I press the botton nothing happens. Could some one help? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Press the reset button and hold it down for 30 seconds. release it. wait for a minute. unplug the power and plug it back in. wait for a minute. Now try to open the set up page of the router.
connect the computer to the router and check the IP address on that computer. using the default gateway number, try to open the set up page of the router.

My WBR-1310 keeps losing connection every 10 mins or so. Is there a fix I can download to my router? (like an update or something)

Hi,
I got your issue, since your facing the frequent disconnection in the internet connection,

ftp://ftp.dlink.com/Gateway/wbr1310/Firmware/wbr1310_firmware_104.bin.

Please download the firmware using this link and log into the router setup page of DLink with 192.168.0.1 and update the firmware

I'm sure this will help you to fix the issue.

Thanks & Regards,
Prema

Had a different router everything was working fine, until i replaced my router to a dlink dsl 2640u , wireless router. i can open all sites but sites beginning with https cant be opened. it says web page...

I suspect that you have port forwarding rule (virtual server) on port 443 (https) on your router. Try to remove rule or just reset router to factory settings. I have the same router and this problem did not happen. You can also install Router Commander program to boost up router performance.

I need to reinstall the driver for dlink but cant find the disk is there any free driver download site?

you should not need a CD to use the router - Routers do NOT need drivers. All the CD would do is set up the router - which you can do manually The product manual is available here http://www.dlink.com/products/?tab=3&pid=WBR-1310&rev=WBR-1310 goto the setup section where it explains how to setupthe router manually

Dlink wireless router

See if you can log into the router...in your browser type:

http://192.168.0.1

Username: admin
leave the password field blank.

there should be a setup button (I don't know if the setup program is in the router, but from the instruction manual, it should be).

Most of the settings should be the default settings, and there is some help listed. If your internet is working right now, it's probably not the router. You might try dlink.com to get the software that originally came on the CD.

Better do reset the router and reconfigure it back , to reset it press and hold the reset button of the router for 10 seconds while power is ON and then reconfigure it back if you have the setup CD just run it....
