issue can be caused by a firmware error, invalid print commands,
corrupt data, invalid operations, poor quality parallel cables, poor
connections or specific applications.
Action :
1> Press Cancel Job to clear the print job from the printer memory.
2> Turn the printer off and then on to clear the error message.

Try printing a job from a different software program. If the job
prints, go back to the first program and try printing a different file.
If the message appears only with a certain software program or print
job, contact the software vendor for assistance.
If the above action does not solve the issue, contact HP or authorized service provider."
In the specific Error 49.2F90 is due to a bug in HP firmware. The printer goes on error 49.2F90 when processing file with bad data ..
Try disconnecting the printer from power outlet and connecting it back. Try also the general reset procedure above.
If the error message persists you may need to take printer to service center to reinstall firmware.
In latest firmware upgade bulletin HP says "Corrected situations where a 49.2F90 and 49.2F9C errors
would
occur when using
Secure Fast Erase and Santitize Erase."
The problem is usually corrected resetting the printer .
