51.23 Error-yellow scanner error

Try this:

Turn off the power by using the power
switch, wait at least 30 seconds, and then
turn on the power and wait for the device to
initialize.
If a surge protector is being used, remove
it. Plug the device directly into the wall
socket. Use the power switch to turn the
device on.
Laser scanners are not replaceable.
Replace the engine.

check software first, check your magenta cartridge, Download service manual from the internet to fi the problem from eserviceinfo.com ,

550.1 error

I'm assuming that the error msg that you typed is a typo. And you meant to type 55.1

55.1 is a DC Controller failure. Turn the printer off for at least 30 seconds. Turn it back on. After it initializes, try to print. If it fails again, you are going to have to replace the DC Controller
