Have a dark screen but apparently BB is working as I get vibration (but no ring) when either a call or text is coming in. Tried battery reseating and sim card reseating. Checked battery and have good 3.7v with no problem charging via BB desktop program.

you need a new motherboard chances are it's not your processor. Your motherboardif you like to computer you need to purchase the exact same motherboard

hi smiley shel pop out the battery of the curve. Also do you hsve a memory card. Next rub the back where the bar code is . this is where the ribbon is. Your phone should vibrate now. It may be as simmple asthat if this doesn't work I need you to do two things one is back up all of your information for the curve with the bb desktop manager.second you will need to call verizon's warranty center 8664065154. tell them you did a hard reset and that you need your phone replace. You are with verizon i hope. if not you will need to get the phone replace. Hope I help you with your problem.

Is it on manner mode if so sometimes it will on vibrate and not ring. Try pressiong and holding down the * button

Go to the sounds icon in the upper left corner of your main Home screen (the one that looks like a speaker with sound coming out of it). Scroll down the list that appears and select Set Ring Tones/Alerts. Click Messages, then SMS Text. Select the ring tone and volume that you want for text messages, as well as any other options (like vibrate) and then exit out and save your changes.

- Press BB Menu Button
- Save

You will need to firstly check the profile settings for notification of call/ text/ message/ voice mail.

On the home screen it is the speaker icon (profile) usually upper right corner

Choose the profile and scroll until you find the current profile - WIll be marked as active.

Scroll to the bottom of the menu for advanced
in the next menu - click on the bold active profile and opt for edit

Find the phone/ SMS/ MMS/ Messenger and any other actions that are not currently notifying...

Check the LED flashing option is set on all of these.

go to your ring profile, scroll down to advanced options, click on profile you want to update, usallt the one that says active next to it. This should open up and have a list of options, phone, email, messenger, etc. scroll down to sms text and click the track ball. now pick and choose which ring tone you want, however many vibrates, and rings etc. once you are done, click the back button and save the changes.

All I did was wait for it to come back. I think it might have had something to do with the battery being low. However, that's never happened to me when the battery was low. When I plugged my charger in, I got a text message. I had the ring on high and vibrate. It vibrated for a second, then it just continued to ring. Once my phone was fully charged, the vibration came back. I think it was just a glitch in the phone. Razr's suck.

Blackberries are famous for requiring the "take battery out and put back in" proceedure to reset things. Give it a try if you have not yet.
