Frigidaire Dryer WOn't Heat

My Frigidaire Dryer won't heat - I suspect it is the heating element. How do I change it and verify that it is the problem. The dryer tumbles. The model number is GLER642AS3 - Thanks

where do I find the thermal fuse on frigidaire dryer and hoow to replace it.

  • dgelpke Nov 21, 2008

I have a Frigidaire Dryer. I am trying to find the fuses. Apparently, one of the fuses may be dead, and that would stop the heating of the clothes but not the tumbler.

It may also be the heater.

Please check control thermistor first. Most likely and inexpensive part.

Frigidaire oven won't heat past 355

Contact a professional to have the unit diagnosed for repairs. Sounds like the heating elements are either faulty or the main control board won't allow the unit to heat up correctly.
