Power the laptop off and as soon as it starts posting press "F11" this will access the recovery partition.
After that just follow the on screen prompts that will restore the pc to factory defaults or factory condition, it will say something along those lines. Let me know if this works for you
If you want to make sure that your data is completely removed from the notebook then I suggest you format your hard disk and re-install Windows.
Use a Windows installation CD; it must match the Windows version on
the Windows Product Code label on the bottom of your laptop.
You will also need to download the device drivers for your model laptop
from the LG WEB support site, make sure the download the correct XP
or Vista version of the drivers which matches the Windows version you are installing.
