Your best bet is ebay or craigs list. there are tons of cheap laptops out there. also, check out your local computer swap meets.

It will be hard. Your laptop should have more than 1 usb port (unless all are broken). You can buy usb hub (3 or 4 ports) for a very cheap price online to use with one of your good usb port.

Here is the problem, the laptop take 2GB RAM. 1GB in each slot, so get 2X1GB RAM. They are cheap now. You need 2, 1GB sticks of ram. For cheap prices go to Newegg.com
