Part# LU4103001
About $150
The service manual will be hard if not impossible to find. They only release those to factory authorized service centers. If you just need it for the fuser replacement instructions then often those will be either in the operators manual which is easy to find or the instructions will be in the box that the fuser comes in.
Good Luck and Thank You for using Fixya.

Printed pages are dented as if embossed at regular intervals. The dents are consistent as to shape and location. Printing appears in the shapes as required.

This is caused by the fuser unit, most likely it has some hard lumps of toner on one of the rollers. You may be able to clean this off, this video may help, if not then fit a new fuser unit.

MFC-9840CDW Laser Printer -

If you have had it for 3 years, yes maybe fuser, and the fuser is actually the cheapest part to replace, but I would pull all parts out first and clean everything. Then toner carts, make sure to cover and shake gently so toner is spread evenly. If you are refilling your own, they can only be refilled once.

We have a Brother MFC-9840CDW with a fuser that's needing to be replaced. Brother says the fuser is part that "is not recommended to be done by the consumer." Are their hazards for changing...

The fuser can be replaced by opening the back cover and removing 2 screws.

I have a brother HL-2140/2170W Monochrome Laser Printer and don't know if I can print envelopes from this printer. It doesn't appear to have an envelope feeder.???

It can cause creased envelopes when printing on envelopes......but if you consult the manual there are fuser tension adjustment switches that solves that for perfect envelope printing (Settings, A, B and Envelope).

hi at this above site you can download your user manual, this shows you in detail exactly how to print on envelopes.
