I recently bought a 1989 Ford Bronco. The in dash radio had been stolen from it a few weeks earlier, Under the back seat was a Alpine CHM-S620 6- Disc CD Changer and in the overhead console a CHM-S655RF Control/Select unit. The wiring leading to the dasboard on both devices has been cut however the CD Changer does unplug from the existing wire. Can you tell me what device would have been installed with these 2 Alpine devices? And possibly what kind of connections or wires I may need to restore the system. Thankyou , Keith D
The installation manual can be found here:

Is the FM modulator unit still present?
I had one of these fitted to my 99 ford falcon when I bought it in 2000. The changer, the head unit and the antenna all plug into an FM modulator (about double the size of a packet of smokes) that then has a lead that plugs into the car stereo. If the FM modulator is there then you have all the parts, you may just need to replace a couple of DIN leads and the car stereo of course. Check my previous post for the link to the installation manual.

Sounds like the changer was plugged into the antenna jack of the radio. this means that you can run it through any radio simply by sending a signal to a preset station on the radio and listening to it through tuner. the control unit ran the changer itself. you may be able to obtain replacement cables from pacparts.com
