Question about E-Machines eMachines Desktop PC

My net book won't get past a startup screen. There are no options available, and no functions I've tried will get it past that screen. I got it in january.

When booting up press the F8 key and you will get additional boot up options

Will not leave startup screen


Time to reboot and to try to enter safe mode. See if it gets you past the startup screen. If it does, you can try to access a system restore point which preceded the day of your problem. Alternatively, you can try the sfc command or easier yet, download Glary Utilities and go to the section where you can choose to have the computer scan for bad or missing files and fix or add them. Depending upon your operating system, you may have other options at your finger tips. When you reboot, hit F8 repeatedly before a Windows screen appears in order to have the option to enter safe mode. Might as well choose the one with network connections if you intend to download and install Glary Utilities. There are more options available to address this.

Hi i have a coolpad avail 3300 and when i turn it on it doesn't go past the coolpad logo it stays stuck on that screen what do I do

My Garmin Nuvi 660 GPS is Silent. It won't even beep when I push the buttons


Try plugging in a set of headphones. If you hear sound, then your speaker is blown. Please see this link for more info.

T61 won't go past the Microsoft loading screen


Press F8 during boot, and load Safe Mode. A program may be preventing a proper startup.

Try disabling startup programs. Go to Start > Run (search in Win 7) and type MSConfig > Startup tab and uncheck anything that you don't want Windows to load automatically. It will make Windows boot faster and use less resources while running.


This just disables them in startup. Programs will still load, but when you initiate.

When powering it up it starts to boot I get a blue screen then it goes black where do I start ?


Try starting your mac from it's install disc.
1) First turn off your computer.
2) Then restart it, right when you push the power button to turn it on, press the option key down and hold it
3) pressing the option key will bring to a screen where you can choose your startup disk. Usually, you'll see your Macintosh HD available to startup from. Don't choose anything yet.
4) Insert your install disc into the CD slot.
5) wait a couple of seconds and then clock on your install disc as your startup option.
6) after clicking on the disc, go to the menubar and click on Utilities then disk utility.
7)once the disk utility app is open hit "verify disk permissions"
8) after you've "verified disk permission" hit "repair disk permissions"
- this might take a long time depending how much you've actually done this (which it's good to do every other month or so to keep your mac running smoothly). things might seem to freeze up as well, but it's the mac trying to verify and repair broken permissions on your computer. Don't that's normal.
9) after you have repaired the disk permission, reboot your mac by quitting disk utility and then choosing the startup disk as your normal macintosh HD. That should do the trick. If not, tell us what has changed.

Computer will not start back up


Insert your startup disk that came with the computer and reformat it.

Scanning


This message will come up when you are scanning from the Stand alone printer not from the computer.

If the software is sucessfully installed in your computer,
Then you should have a icon which says HP Director / HP Solution Center (If not Goto> Start> All Programs> HP and then you will see them
Open HP Director/Solution Center and try scanning from there, It should scan from there.
If yes then go to settings> Scann Settings> Scan to setup> There you see an option which says Front panel Destination list> Click that and there you see a options says Restore Defaults> Click that> then Apply and Ok> And close all the indows and try scanning from the All-In-One.

If it does not work then try the steps bellow:

Go To:
My computer>C:windows>system32
Copy hpzipm12
minimize this window
Right click on Start button on the computer>Explore>Programs>Startup>edit>paste
minimize this window.
Go back to My computer>C:>windows>system32
Copy hpzinw12
minimize this window

Right click on Start button on the computer>Explore>Programs>Startup>edit>paste
Now you will see two new files in Startup
Now go to My Computer>C:Program Files>HP>Digital Imaging>bin>
Copy hpqtra08
close this window
Right click on Start button on the computer>Explore>Programs>Startup>edit>paste
Restart the computer
Open Hp Solution Center> Settings>Scan settings and preferences> Scan to button>
check destination list> if available applications are not in the destination list then add them in the front panel destination
Tried to scan.

No Scan Options for HP Oficejet 6310


This is a resolution for "NO SCAN OPTIONS" in the front panel screen of the All-In-One Only:

If you are getting this message when you are trying to scan from the All-In-One.
And If the software is successfully installed in your computer, then you should have a icon in your desktop as HP Solution (if not got to Start> All Programs> HP> HP Solution Center) Then try scanning from there, if you are able to scan from there then try the steps bellow.
Open solution center> Settings> Scan settings> Scan to setup> Then in this window click on Restore defaults> Then apply or ok and close all the windows and try to scan from the All-In-One printer.
If it still does not work then try the bellow steps:
Go to:
My computer>C:windows>system32
Copy hpzipm12
minimize this window

Right click on Start button on the computer>Explore>Programs>Startup>edit>paste
minimize this window.

Go back to My computer>C:>windows>system32
Copy hpzinw12
minimize this window

Right click on Start button on the computer>Explore>Programs>Startup>edit>paste
Now you will see two new files in Startup
