Did you dry the camera completely? If not here is the procedure to take out all moisture trapped in the camera: Dry the camera, battery, any accessory, etc. with cloth and wrap each piece, camera and accessories, in newspaper. Place a few handfuls of rice into a plastic bag and then place the wrapped camera in the bag with rice. The newspaper wrapping avoids direct contact of rice with your camera because the dust from the rice can get into the small areas of the camera. The newspaper and rice will absorb moisture. Leave it there (with the bag open) at least 24 hrs.

Canon Ixus 95. When taking pictures of people with dark clothes, the face and background (a stone wall in this case) become white and undefined. Is there a solution?

Sounds like your camera is exposing for the dark clothes and over-exposing the face. You could set the "exposure compensation" down a notch or two in this case for a better exposure.

I have words "Card Locked" on screen of Canon Ixus 65. Unable to take photos. Had camera over 2.5 years and never encountered this before. Any ideas?

Look at your memory card. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

Canon ixus 50 unable to delete photos from card

If the card is a removable memory card, take it out and use a adapter on your computer.  Format the card on your computer then put it back into your camera.  It should be ok after formatting on PC.

Canon ixus 50 the camera is not switching on and the lens is open

Check the battery cover closes properly, the camera will not operate at all if the switch thinks the cover is even slightly open. Try removing the card, sometimes they cause cameras to not start when they are faulty. If all else fails, the fuse is most likely blown. They are internally located just near the power switch but you are best to have a service centre replace it for you. Best of luck.

Dropped Ixus 50 in water...!

place your camera in a hot press, or where your boiler is, on shelf and it might dry out in a day or two, then try it again.
