I have a small universal remote control (7 buttons) that i want to use on my transonic TV model no.HFC2168NT. i have lost the booklet. to tune it in i hold set up until the LED flashes and then i enter the five digit code. vol+ = 1, vol- = 2, chan+ = 3, chan- = 4. So the five digit code only consists of number from 1 to 4. The original remote for the was used as a stepping stone by my 3 year old daughter.

the code has 5 digits, not 4.
Each number can only be 1, 2, 3 or 4.
This remote is about 8 years old.
all it says is 'TOTAL control'
it is fairly small and has 7 buttons and 1 red led.
Power, Set up, Vol+, Vol-, CH+, CH-,mute.

how do i program the codes for NEC (0193 0059 0343 0478
0032 0397 0240 0060 0034). With this control I understand that we can only program numbers 1,2,3 & 4.
So I am a liitle lost as to how to get a zero or a 9.
