Sony digicam DSC W1

Hi
The LCD screen of my camera suddenly started flickering and then after a while everything becomes like a mirror image. Exactly opposite of how it should be on the screen. Everything is hazy too.
Please advice.

My flash stop working on my sony cybershot dsc-w1...could this be an option that may have changed on the camera it self or did the flash just blow

Hi,
If it is Sony DSC-T1 camera then it got ccd imager chip failure problem that is why no image in lcd screen to take fresh picture.
CCD Imager chip will be replaced to fix this issue.
Let me know if camera model number if different or you need ccd imager chip part number info.

I presume you need the correct drivers/software for this to work.
Use Google to search the camera model number or go to the Sony website and the drivers are normally a free download. Download and install then plug in your camera.

Viewing is fine, taking pictures is not

This sounds like what started happening with my camera a few weeks ago. I found that turning the LCD screen off during picture-taking allows me to take pictures. I then have to go into review mode to look at the pictures I took using the LCD screen. Definitely not a great fix. I'm trying to locate a firmware upgrade that may solve it.
