Do you mean your home screen? Customize Your Home Screen To personalize your Q, you might want to consider customizing your Home Screen. A designer has created a number of wallpapers and home screens that are available for download in our free software section or by visting Kooldezign.
These designs are free, but I encourage you to donate to the author if you find them useful. Follow these steps to personalize your Home Screen Layout:

1. Download both the .home.xml and wallpaper image.
2. Place both files in /Application/Data/Home folder on your Moto Q.
3. Press Home > Settings > D. Home Screen
4. Using the 5-way navigator, scroll right to select your new home screen layout
5. Scroll down to Background Image > Using the 5-way navigator, scroll right to select the appropriate Background Image or Wallpaper for your new Home Screen.
6. Press Done.
7. Press the Home button and you should now see your new Home Screen.

going in setting click more option then select reset and type reset code 0000 your mobile reset succesfuly but you loosed your data

There should be layouts available (i.e. AT&T Default, Large Font, Windows Simple, Windows Default....etc.). It changes the way the icons are arranged on the home screen.

you should be able to just scroll left through the menu with your directional button on your phone. i might be misunderstanding you, but i dont think you can type anything in there...just scroll through the various options like AT&T Default, AT&T Windows Basic, etc.

i cannot find any layouts on my phone. in the homescreen box there aren't any options. it's completely blank, how can i get them back?

This is a fairly rare problem, but it does happen with the Blackjack and other Windows Mobile devices.

First thing to try is:

Start -> Settings -> Display -> Home Screen -> (your carrier) Default

If this option or no options are visible, attempt to move right or left a couple of times (if you are in the list mode, move up and down) and then hit 'OK'

If this does not work, you will need to do a factory restore on your device:

WARNING - Restoring the factory settings on your device may cause the loss of all of your data that is not stored on the memory card or backed up elsewhere. Please back up your data before doing a factory reset and remove your memory card during the procedure:

From within the Software:
1. Start -> Settings -> More -> SECURITY -> More -> Reset
2. Enter '0000' and hit 'OK'

From the Powered off state:
1. Power off the device
2. Hold down the 'UP' navigation arrow while pressing the power button.
3. You will be presented with a 'format' menu, hold
