My flash does not seem to be working, I tried just about everything but it wont work. it all started when I pressed reset im pretty sure, but im not postive. please help me.

Pressing reset would not disable your flash. On the screen, does a lightning bolt icon appear? Is there a letter A or the word auto next to it? Or does the lightning bolt have a diagonal line through it? In any case, press the button on the back of your camera with the picture of the lightning bolt until the lightning bolt with "A" or "auto" appears next to it on the screen.

Cannot clear the closed caption off screen

go to your menu and turn it off. Or, turn your tv off and unplug it give it 5 minutes to let it reset so it doesnt keep it stored, and turn it back on.

Depends on TV i guess.

good luck.
