My Dell Latitude D610 is asking for hard drive password

Hello, can you tell me if you see the Windows Screen? or is a bios password?
The first one can be unlocked using a program called Active@password.
The second one can be unlocked for $30. Hope this helps.

format ur harddisk using windows 98 bootable cd in D610 this will definately help u

If you need any DATA off the computer bring it to your friendly computer shop or computer "geek" and see if he can read anything on the drive and should be able to transfer it to your laptop for you.

Of if the Data on the D610 is not really important, Replace It.

You require the BIOS password to unlock it.
Ask who put a password on to tell you what it is.

It's not disconnected that is for sure. I think you'll need to replace hard disk drive.

It's a weird key combination. I've done it before with a Dell tech on the phone but I can't remember how.

If you research it on Dell's site (which you probably did), you will see that they want you to call or contact them on Dell chat.

you Dell Latitude D610 can support large hard drives from 100gigs up to 250gigs ... but i very much think this is the limitation of your system bios if u are looking to go higer ... u might need to upgrade your system bios.....
