My printer has started "jumping" in other words, at various points on the page(in stripes down the length of the page) the letters are duplicated above each other? Can you assist. I work on a new Mac running snow leopard.

Open the help tab in Word. Click on Show Office Assistant. Then type in a question or key word like Margins and see what you get.

Yes absolutely the PCU problem, contact your nearest shop to check the PCU before anything will happen to your printer.

Please rate me solved you decide to check the PCU. Don't look for another solution because I got already the right answer which already suspected at your own guest.

Could you supply more detail? This is confusing as is. You have 12 letters, 3 of them duplicated.

A 7 letter word cannot contain them all, whether or not counting duplicates. Do you mean a 7 letter word FROM these letters?

Printer wont stop paper, if any page length mismatch,Select page length as any size, as well as while shooting the print command select page length as legal & try it. I feel that teflon not rotating properly, result paper jamming at bottom end. If any paper length faulty printer detects the length give message of mis match..Pl check carefully...

The duplication problem can be either the drum or the fuser. Most likely your drum needs to be replaced. If you can measure the distance between the first print and its duplicate I might be able to help more.

Clean the Corona Wire carefully to remove any residue. As the charge on the wire is effectivley masked it cannot deposit any toner to the page and will result in a consistent white vertical stripe.

Have you used page setup in words? is it a problem of A4 or Letter page size? If you have A4 as default in Word and Letter as default in the printer it would react that way (letter is wider while A4 is longer...)

Resolving white, light lines or streaks (eliminate light stripes)

From the printer, print the Troubleshooting Print Quality Pages.
With Troubleshooting highlighted, press the OK button.
Scroll to Print Quality Problems by pressing the Up or Down Arrow button. Press OK.

Scroll to Troubleshooting Print Quality Page. Press OK.
Evaluate the Light Stripes Test page for missing printhead jets (missing cyan, magenta, yellow or black color bars).

Clean the maintenance unit's wiper blade and empty the waste tray. A dirty maintenance drawer wiper blade can cause white lines and weak or missing printhead jets. Using a clean lint-free cloth or a paper coffee filter, gently clean the blade with a wiping motion across the entire length of the wiper blade.

Sounds like you need a new cleaning blade. It is located inside the process assy behind the drum.
