Excuse me but there's no sound coming out from my front panel. My board is Asus P5kpl-VM
Does your rear sound port work? When you say that " connectors are properly connected " have you checked it with the user manual? if it's in order then go to http://www.asus.com/product.aspx?P_ID=i5ktecSJbqQKaa0x download the sound driver & chk.
There should only be sound coming out of the speakers not from a panel

The connectors are properly connected to the motherboard, but when i connect my headset to the front audio panel, I still don't hear any sound from it.
The connections are all proper. I upgraded my PC to windows 7 from win xp which I had a realtek ALC662 driver. Now win 7 displays no sound driver name on dxdiag. should i download a compatible driver in the internet?
yeah the rear audio panel is working. Ok I'll try to download the drivers for this motherboard. Hey thanks a lot you've really given me ways to start fixing this problem :]
