I opened mine up hit the red reset in the front and now all good. If ur red light is blinking make sure ur lamp compartment is shut properly, if not the red light will blink and unit won't turn on.
The same thing happened to my Sharp XR-11XC Projector last week. It just suddenly turned off. No lights, no nothing. I don't even know how to check the fuse. Can you tell me how you did this? Also, did you ever figure out what is wrong with yours?

Where is the fuse located??
Ok, I was able dismantle the projector and remove the fuse. My brother (electrical engineer) tested it with his ohm meter. The fuse is still good. He did find a red reset button, which he pressed. Now the standby light blinks continuously...

My co-worker (Electrical Engineer) used an Ohm (spelling?) meter to test the fuse. He said you just hook the two probes up to the fuse and if it reads 0 then the fuse is good, if not it's bad - in a nutshell. Still no luck on my projector but I want to see if I can possibly find the power board online somewhere and try replacing it all together. I'll post if I find a fix of any sort. Good luck!
It's buried in there on the power supply board. You pretty much have to dismantle the entire thing and unplug some of the boards from one another to get to it.
