Whirlpool front loader staining..

I've been having problems now for almost a yr now with my whirlpool duet leaving greyish blue stains.. i've had the bearings replaced and yet the stains persist. i do not use fabric softner and very miminal purex he liquid

    I have  a light grey/brown staining problem as well, it seems to be on lights and whites any solutions or reasons

I had the same problem with my Duet front loader. Whirlpool parts has come up with a new cleaner made especially for front load washers. It's a tablet that cleans the inside of your washer.

I have the same washer and i am some times perplexed about stain that appear after washing> i always blamed colors tranfer from other items .I'll keep a closer eye and see if i can find any more. does your washer have any oders that bother you mine does. for the price i feel cheated

Better change your detergent powder you can use white surf for better washing and you dont get this problem again.

Try using Affresh or Tide Washing Machine Cleaner. But if the unit sounds like a train in spin, then you have a bearing problem.

Which is better for the dryer and why, dryer sheets or fabric softener in the wash?
Liquid in the washer is better since sheets in the dryer are prone to leaving stains (read back of package about stain warning on every box of softener sheets i have ever seen) also the sheets leave a build up on the thermostats and moisture sensor

While the liquid in the washer softens the clothes and has no build up or staining issues such as the sheets

Duet GHW9150P Front Load Washer: REDDISH BROWN STAINS FROM WHIRLPOOL GAS DRYER...
This is from not enough HOT loads.

Fatty deposits gather between the basket and tub during COLD washes.

Then they are being released in large numbers when you do your whites on HOT.

It is recommended to do 1 HOT load per week.

Do an empty load with some degreaser added (like Goo-Gone) on the fullest/hottest setting you have.

My front loader gas Duet dryer has left brownish stains
Sounds like bad drum seals. Check all the way around the drum at the wall for sections of seals missing or an uneven gap around the drum at the wall.

Could be the drum bearing worn. If the seal has degraded then you could be getting rust from the bearing in the drum water
