Sounds like you have turned function off you need to go into your menu for alarm and alter setting..if you not got the instructions you can get them of the world wide web.

pull the crown out 2 clicks....
set the alarm the same as your current time on your watch.....
push the crown in 2 clicks.....
than pull the crown out 1 click .....
set the alarm at the desired time with the lower button.....
than push the crown in 1 click ....
the alarm is ON

Is your watch covered for most of the time that it is being worn?( by sleeves perhaps?).
There must be a lower limit of exposure time required to keep the battery charged (so that it can run overnight), perhaps this requirement is not being met.
Don't have this one but the procedure is similar for any Casio watch. procedure has many steps, so would recommend consulting the manual for your particular watch.
Two clicks to the dial on the right. First click adjusts the day of the month. To change the day of the week pull out to second click and go forward or backward in 'time' and week will follow.
press the udjust button up to 3 second ,when the digit is blinking press the mode button to select the digit that you want to set and go set the time use the two another button on left side after set the time press the udjust button onece and the time back to normal,
