Stihl FS 66 Brushcutter. Diagram of fuel line on it. I need to replace and I need to see the right placement. It was torn down and I'm trying to get it running again, thanks.

Is the trim head replaceable

The machine is rated as a brushcutter even though it is supplied with a line trimmer head.

You should find a range of spares and accessories available for the machine to perform a number of functions.

Hi, I have a Stihl FS88 trimmer with an auto cut 'bump' head. What diameter line should I use please.

Dave, I use the orange 2.4 mm .095" line, seems to give the best results. Check the attached links,manual,instruction and guides, Good luck

If you bought the trimmer new there should be a rod about 6" long and 1/8" thick. Above the trimmer head below the trimmer gearbox there is a hole. You have to put the rod in that hole and turn the head until that locks it from turning.

From there you can screw the trimmer head off by hand, or a strap wrench if it's really tight. It may be left hand threads.

Thanks for the help. A piece of fencing wire works fine to replace the rod. Mine is a FS85, and is a left hand thread. Cheers!
