I have a haier hsbo3 2.7 and i had the setting at 3 and my food is still frozen! It's either too cold, or not staying on. There is a cord hanging off the side, I think this is the temperature gauge? Where do I put this? Thank you!

Chcek to see if the thermostat bulb is inside the freezer section. Turn the t'stat to 1 instead of 3. If it still freezes then you have a bad t'stat. Take it back to the store it you have a receipt. If you can't then sorry you are out of luck. Haier is cheap and made in Korea. No parts are available anywhere here!!! Stay away from Haier or get a warranty!!!

Normal for a freezer is around 0 Fahrenheit. 21 is barely cold enough, but ok, food will stay frozen. Freezing is 32 Fahrenheit, 0 Celcius.

it could be that your fridge,freezer setting is not turned up high enough to keep the freezer cold enough.turn it up to setting number 5 at least and if that dont do it u could have a faulty thermostat.have it checked by a engineer.

You may have a refrigerant leak. First make sure the lid has not warped and leaving an air gap for heat to enter. That's really about all you can do without getting a tech. involved.

the small cooling fan in the freezer compartment that sends chilled air to the food side is defective and needs replacement. Sometimes that are only frozen stuck.

Check to see if the fan motor in the freezer is running. Most likely it is not circulating the cold air Also make sure the defrost drain line is clear and has drained out. A frozen sheet of ice will restrict airflow also

If the unit is running continuously and not maintaining the temperature cold enough the system may have a leak. If it is NOT running continuously the problem could be in the temperature control.
