Did you just need to tell someone or was there a question I failed to see here? You can go to most any junk yard and pick your own replacement. Some places don't let you go get your own part, so take a pic of the damaged part in your rig and show them what you are looking for.
It should be the same part from most Chevy/GMC trucks from 1990-2001
If you look under the seat there is a cable that connects to the grab handle and runs from the left to the right of the seat adjusters, if cable falls then only one side adjuster will release and u will not be able to move seat, usually up can reinstall the cable and it's good to go, if it broke u will have to replace it.. generally u can repair it without removing the seat.
There are cables that run the seat up down forward and back. It sounds like the cable has broke for the foward or back adjustment. They are hard to get to I know unless the seat is removed to check
