I recently got a new phone and cannot remember the passcode for my motorola h 500 bluetooth device. Also can I buy the clips for different bluetooth devices (the skinny piece that latches on to the back of the bluetooth and goes around your ear)?

sure can
with the boom mic closed Push and hold the call button until the light around turns purple or stays a blue, then open the boom mic the color should stay on now go in to the phone settings and find the bluetooth settings and search for device once it finds it connecct to it, Remember the Passcode is 0000, and then you should be all set up.
You have to "pair" your bluetooth device with your phone. This is just a fancy way of saying "sync" with each other. Check your bluetooth headset instructions on how to do this.
I am using a Motorola H700 Bluetooth Headset. To "pair" it with my phone I have to hold down the call button on the actual bluetooth headset itself while the headset is turned off. This puts the headset in "pairing" mode so its ready to detect any phone that wants to sync with it.
Then I have to go to my actual LG CU400 and enable bluetooth settings. Next, go to "Device List" settings and select "new". The phone will scan for the headset. Once the phone detects the headset it will request a numercial passcode. Your bluetooth headset instructions should list this passcode. Enter the passcode and the phone and headset are now connected! I hope this helps. Good Luck!
If you haven't changed it before (most people don't) the passcode is usually set to default of 0000 or 00000. Go to your connections part of your phone and say search for devices. Make sure you headset is on. Try to locate the device.
First be sure the bluetooth function in your phone is on and then be sure to set your Bluetooth Headset to be sure the light is steady on not flashing and bring them togetehr head to head again. Look at on the screen of your phone for any new message. Then just follow the instruction message and remember to enter the passcode is usually 0000. The procedure is very simple like I explained above and it should recognize each other. Beside, you need to have a full charger your bluetooth before pairing it with your phone. Good Luck
