The blower on my furnace seems to run a long time after the flames go out. Is there a way to shorten how long the blower runs after the flames go out. Right now it feels like it is cooling the rooms as much as heating them.
Yes. On the board mounted inside the furnace box. There will be a series of posts that have numbers printed below each post. The heat motor uses low speed so it should be a sort of fat (larger than most of the other wires) red wire attached to one of the posts. If the wire is on 60, for example, then move it to the next lower post, like 30. unplug the cord on the furnace first. The wire SHOULD be red but may be blue, don't let the color guide you, look for the place where the wires go. If you find the place I'm talking about and the wire is black, then let me know, because its wired to high speed, which is wrong. I will help you.
