Well, it is odd that your signal cannot penetrate the wall, because it should. If you do not want to move it, then you can just go and buy a wireless access point, or another wireless router to you as an access point to extend your wireless network (if you decide to buy another wireless router, go by what speed you want in that room that you currently don't have a wireless connection in).
A wireless access point will usually cost more than a wireless router, but is much more simple to install.

However, I would recommend getting a linksys wireless router, so that all you need to do is disable DHCP, set the SSID to the same one as on your first router, change the channel so that each router is atleast 2-3 apart from each other, and set a WEP/WPA (if desired). Once you have done this, simply connect the two routers with an ethernet cable through the switch ports. Not as hard as I probably made it sound (especially since it can all be done from the web application).
