Converting the player to multi-region (or technically region 0) so that it can play DVDs from anywhere in the world is simple. In most cases you will have to go out and buy a player that was originaly designed for the region where you are. You can also shop around to see if it is possible to have a multi-region player. In some locations these are legal to be sold.
