There is nothing you can do yourself, as this is mechanical problem and needs watchmakers attention. I suggest the oil in balance staff jewels has not been changed for quite a long time. All you have to do is to visit your closest watch repair shop. There are few things you can not do without proper knowledge. Rate me, plz.

Hi, I've got a automatic tag aquaracer watch that loses about 4 mins every month (about 4 yrs old). Common problem? Can this be fixed ? Or is it a lemon of a watch? Any advice welcome. Cheers.

If it's automatic and 4 years old, it's probably time for a watch overhaul. Auotmatic watches need overhauled about once every 4-5 years. It's normal for it to lose time, but 4 minutes per month may be a little extreme. So, get the watch overhauled. I would recommend Tag Heuer to overhaul it.

This watch will not keep working. I spin it around and it works for a min. or two.... is there a way to manually wind this watch?

An automatic watch can be wound up by holding them level and swinging it from side to side and several minutes (one maker said swing it 200-300 times).

Once fully wound, the watch should keep working if it is worn daily. Most automatic watches will run for 2-3 days if not worn.

Do Carrera automatic watch need a battery to run? because it stop me alot that why it just run for a few mins and stop forever until i move again

Automatic watches are mechanical (spring driven) and they are wound by the gentle swinging of the arm as you walk.

If yours has stopped, then it needs to re-wound by swinging it side to side (keeping the watch face level).

You will need to do this for some time (as many as 300 times, according to one maker).

When fully would the watch should run for about 3 days if not worn.

These watches thrive on use!

Setting my Tissot touch Navigator 3000

Per the manual: http://support.tissot.ch/usersmanual/140-en.pdf
When your battery begins to die, the hands are no longer synced.
After replacing the battery, go into local time mode (pressing the center of the crystal) until "Set" appears. Press the crown. Scroll to "ECO BAT", press and hold the crown for 5 seconds until "SYNCHRO" appears. Use the "+" button to move the minute hand and the "-" to move the hour hand until they are in the upright or 12:00 position.
Either press the crown again or wait until the watch automatically leaves the Set mode. Your hands should now represent the local time.

My watch is never right

Exactly what Kind of watch do you have?
Is it a quartz or automatic?
In either case, from your description it sounds like you will need to take your watch in for repair. The difference is whether or not it's worth it. Personally I would recommend fixing almost any automatic. Quartz watches are a different story. Although they can be repaired as well.

Find a repritable jewelers and inquire about who does their watch repairs.
If you would like more specific details please respond with the make and model of your watch.

Hope this helps.
