If tripping and turning the circuit breaker off for about 10 minutes does not work, contact Frigidaire. Sounds like the control board and/or door switch will need replacing.

These ovens have notoriously bad control panel electronics. There is one control board for the oven that can be replaced or sent out for repair, $100 to $300.

May be the sensor or the control. Try sensor first. Way cheaper

Here are some solution on how to unlock the door of your oven ans do self cleaning below.

IF you can locate the model number tag (bottom left of door opening) you can look up the manual at www.geappliances.com
The only button on your stove that should make the door lock would be the clean button (self clean model) if that is pressed simply hit the clear/off or cancel key and wait for the door to unlock. IF the self clean option ran for an hour or so, you will have to wait for the oven to cool down before the lock can unlock (safety feature).hope this helps you out please rate this solution it helps get better results for our customers like you

Self Cleaning

1 Remove oven racks and soak them in soapy water.

2 Turn on your automatic oven cleaner; this usually entails locking the door and turning the function switch to "clean."

3 Let the oven do its work;it will heat for several hours, charring off baked-on foods.

Fast Cleaning

1 Remove oven racks and place them in soapy water to soak.

2 Preheat oven to 200 degrees.

3 Turn the oven off and spray the inside with oven cleaner.

4 Allow to sit for 10 minutes.

5 Wipe the cleaner and dirt away with a damp sponge, rinsing frequently.

6 Dry with a soft cloth.

Have you tried to unpulg it and see if it unlocks

Hold oven door light in while touching clean cycle enter up arrow or down arrow then hit cancel. door will unlock.

Unplug power, wait one hower and plug cord back.

That should reset the oven, if it does not, the oven timer control is clearly defective and should be replaced , you find parts here.

Door lock motor has probably failed.....Self clean on many
ovens can be a self destruct mode. Door latch motors, sensor
probes and even the electronic controls can be destroyed by
this operation. On many freestanding stoves the lock motor is located in the right rear (looking from the front) with a long rod connected to the lock. remove the motor and unhook the rod from the motor cam. Sometimes bending a coat hangar into a hook and sliding from the right side into the lock you can unlock the door.

kittyboy The first step I would recommend you to do is to turn the circuit breaker on, then set up the oven clock. Start the self clean for any amount of time, wait about 30 seconds and push the cancel button. Most of the time it helps to eliminate the problem.
