You should be able to turn up the volume by "turning" the big wheel clockwise. If the earphones you're using have a volume control, check that. Also, look in the Settings menu. Under System Settings there's a Volume settings which gives you the choice of "Normal" and "High."
If those don't bring up the volume, try a different set of earphones. If that doesn't do it, then your Fuze requires service.
I've had the same problem with my Sansa Fuze 2GB. It's pretty frustrating, but in order to get it to work, I let it sit without touching it or doing anything with it for a few days. For 2-5 days, do not turn on your Sansa Fuze. After the amount of time has passed, try the soft reset again.
I'm having trouble understanding the question. Are you saying you don't know how or it won't adjust volume? Volume is changed by rotating your finger around the center disc. 1. Press Menu button to return to the Main Menu.
2. Move down to Settings and select it.
3. Select Volume.
4. Highlight the desired volume settings then press Select button.
